Firefighters responded to an accident involving a single motorcycle on the RN 24 in the direction Rennes-Lorient, between Baud and Guénin in Morbihan. The 25-year-old driver of the motorcycle was transported in absolute urgency to the Rennes University Hospital.

A 25-year-old woman was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident this Saturday, March 6, 2021, shortly after noon. She suddenly seemed to lose control of her machine and crashed into the center rails of the expressway.
The victim had just recovered a newly purchased motorcycle. A friend was following her in the car on the way home. The rider was helicoptered in a state of absolute emergency to the Pontchaillou University Hospital Center in Rennes.
Her shocked 32-year-old friend was taken to Noyal-Pontivy hospital in Morbihan. The two young women are from Plœmeur, near Lorient.
The RN 24 was blocked for forty-five minutes in both directions.
