A wild fight where things got tough. You have to see it

Rough mud battles of world famous tractors. One of the few tests that a person sees only once in a lifetime. Get ready for a once-in-a-lifetime show.

That the modern tractor is very different from its predecessors is clear only by looking at the latest models from well-known brands. Sophisticated four-wheel drive, outputs for driving auxiliary aggregates at the front and rear, cabins comparable in terms of comfort to passenger cars (or even surpassing them) and which support GPS systems for field handling and synchronization with other machines. All these features were unthinkable in a single car twenty years ago. But how will two classic models hold up in a tough fight? Let’s take a look at this.

Two classic machines from the eastern and western hemisphere

And to make it really interesting, the representatives of the “West against the East”, factions that are really irreconcilable compared to today’s situation, met directly. Belarus is represented by Belarus, the second New Holland represents America, or the entire democratic world. Compared to the current top models, these are simple machines with all electronic or comfort amenities, the only “equipment” of which is four-wheel drive and a relatively high torque characteristic of all tractors.

The rest just depends on the skill of their drivers. The longer we watch the video, the more it seems like a good guide on how to get out of even the biggest mess you may encounter in the form of deep mud. Of course, if you’re sitting in a cool SUV, we definitely don’t recommend getting into something like this. Sooner or later, you should probably really call that real tractor. But if you’re the owner of a real off-road vehicle, this video is a good example of how to do it.

Mud games also go with cheap off-road vehicles

And you don’t have to have a Land Rover, Mercedes G-Class or the iconic Land Cruiser right away. You can undertake such a “mud adventure”, albeit to a slightly lesser extent, with significantly cheaper equipment, starting with the Lada Niva or the older Suzuki SJ or Jimny, with a little courage we would not be afraid even with a “short” Vitara. And of course with the Japanese clover Mitsubishi Pajero, Nissan Patrol or Isuzu Trooper. In short, ideally with a chassis-to-chassis car, reduction gear and solid axles.

As can be seen from the video, even a seemingly unsolvable situation, when the tractor is hopelessly “raking on all fours”, covered in mud, can eventually be overcome. Sometimes the truth takes a lot of patience and creativity, but it works. The advantage of similar “mud games” somewhere behind the house on the edge of a field (our field, we certainly do not recommend anything like this on someone else’s property!) is their relative safety and attractiveness, the disadvantage is the need for proper washing after the event. And if you manage to really dig, there’s always the option to call the tractor for help. Fingers crossed!
