Thehe Al-Ihsaan mosque in Leuven (Flemish Brabant) was vandalized during the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, local police said. There are no suspects yet.

Individuals damaged the premises of the Al-Ihsaan mosque during the night of Tuesday to Wednesday. They tagged the main entrance and smashed the glass door with a brick, found inside the building.

The act of vandalism was noticed on Wednesday at 6 am by the faithful who came for the morning prayer.

The police went down to the scene and drew up a report. The perpetrators and their motivations are unknown. The spokesman of the mosque regretted these degradations, “especially during the holiday season when the link occupies a central place”.
