What to do to do it properly?
First of all, stand in front of the mirror with your torso bare.
We tell you, below, the different steps or different positions to perform an optimal self-exploration:
STEP 1️⃣ Keep your shoulders straight and place your hands next to your hips
All good, yes:
Your breasts keep the same shape, size and color
Your breasts do not show any deformation or inflammation that stands out to the eye
Let us know, if:
You notice any wrinkles or bumps on the skin
Your nipple has changed position
You notice pain or redness
STEP 2️⃣ Raise your arms as if you were reaching up
Observe the same signs as in the previous step.
Also, see if:
You expel some liquid directly from one of your nipples. Let us know if you notice anything!
STEP 3️⃣ Lie on your back
Feel your left breast with your right hand, and do the same with your right breast. (inversely)
Make circular movements with your fingertips, on each breast in full
See if you suffer any abnormality, as in the previous steps.
STEP 4️⃣ Take a shower while standing
Feel your breasts in the same way as in the previous step, with circular movements and a firm touch.
It is the preferred form of self-exploration for many women.
