Twenty-two-year-old Che Sok-hyun described in her diary that her coaches often beat her or forbade her to eat and cried every day. She begged her mother to “reveal the sins of her tyrants.”
“She sought help from a number of institutions, but everything was heard, the complaints were evaluated as unfounded,” a well-known triathlete, who won bronze at the Junior Asian Championships, told Yonhap.
According to the SID agency, several thousand people have already written a petition for a thorough resolution of the case.
