A total of €13,000 in prizes for the best photos and short films of Bardenas

The Community of Bardenas Reales awarded this Friday with a total of 13.000 euros to the best snapshots and short films about the Bardenero territory of those presented to the Julián Isla Memorial short and photography contests.-

Specifically, in the short film festival it was imposed Santiago Fernandez Gonzalez, from Tudela, awarded with €3,000 for ‘Lux 3’; followed by Jonas Caspe Pinero, by Rada, which obtained €2,000 with ‘The light of your eyes’; and Inma Ciriza Marco, by Cortes, with ‘The Adventures of Sanchico’ – €1,000-. In the second prize category for congozantes de Bardenas, the three prizes -€500, €300 and €200- were declared void. Santiago Fernández thanked his usual team, made up of Ruben Rodriguez, Natalia Salvatierra y Katia Chiviteas well as that of the screenwriter, Alejandro Mesa and the collaboration of Luis Gonzalez‘the Soapmaker’.

In the photo contest won Juan Ramon Martin Catoira, with ‘Indalo 1’ – €2,500, followed by Jaione Bonilla Lerchundi, of Tudela, with ‘Metallic Landscapes’ – €1,500; and Francisco Javier Munuera Gonzalez, of Tudela, with ‘Light 2’ – €1,000 -. As far as the accésit for congozantes are concerned, they were for Cristina Mesquita González, neighbor of Arguedas, for ‘Ray of color on the Rallón’ -500 €-; Jose Antonio Martinez Sanz, for ‘Pisquerra’ -€300-; and Jose Miguel Jimenez Arcos, of Tudela, for ‘Road’ -200 €-.

Finally, in the Territory Custody category, José Reyes Belzunce won with his photo ‘Natura Extremadura 2’ -€500-; followed by Jesús San Lázaro Jiménez, from Zaragoza, with ‘El matorral’ -€300-; and Carlos de Cos Azcona, with ‘First Lights’ -€200-.

The Bardenas headquarters in Tudela hosted the delivery of the awards for both contests, held in memory of the president of the Bardenera Community, Julián Isla, who has since passed away. The act was presented by the president of the Muskaria Cinema Club of Tudela, Julio Mazarico. The president of Bardenas, José Mª Agramonte, said that with these contests it is a question of “valuing” the image of Bardenas, “and together making it bigger”.
