A total of 658 new Covid-19 infections reported in the past seven days – rts.ch

The president of the apex of the cantonal doctors Rudolf Hauri demanded in the Sunday press controls in all the planes and buses returning from countries considered to be at risk.

Anyone who returns to Switzerland from a country at risk for coronavirus is expected to report to the cantonal authorities and place themselves in quarantine. Investigations by the NZZ am Sonntag show, however, that less than half of the passengers concerned comply with these rules.

The Federal Office of Public Health announced on Friday that it would carry out sporadic checks on flights and buses arriving in Switzerland. Passenger lists will be checked on 20 to 30 flights per week. But in practice, the controls are not always so easy to apply.
