A summer concert series on the banks of the Gauja will be opened in Ādaži on Thursday evening / Article / LSM.lv

Delighted to meet their listeners in person again, beloved musicians together with Ādaži Culture Center have created an unprecedented project “Gauja Park Concert Series” in Ādaži at this unusual time, where listeners will have the opportunity to gain different emotions and moods for three evenings in a row.

Every musical evening is planned in a completely different mood. July 30 at 21.00 The concert series will be opened by the wonderful voice owner and composer Linda Leen together with the talented guitarist Rihards Lībietis, then on Friday evening the hit group “The Other Side” and Antra Stafeckas will play music, and the concert series will be closed by the favorite band “The Sound Poets”.

It is the Gauja that has inspired the creative team of the Ādaži Culture Center for this great project, because all the concerts of the summer concert series will take place on the bank of the beautiful river, in the Gauja Park. To make the atmosphere even more special, the event organizers invite you to bring your blankets, blankets and chairs, as well as choose weather-appropriate clothing, as the concerts will take place under the night sky. There will also be a café in the event area. Entrance to the event will be from 20.00.

Each concert will last about an hour and a half, and will feature both the listeners ‘favorite compositions and lesser-known songs from the artists’ works. The concerts will start at 9 pm On Thursday, Linda Leen & Rihards Lībietis will take the stage, on Friday – the group “The Other Side” and Antra Stafecka, and on Saturday – the group “The Sound Poets”.

From July 30 to August 1, the section of the Gauja Dam from the Ādaži Cultural Center to the Gauja Bridge will be closed.
