A strange ball fell from the sky in Mexico

Popular Mexican meteorologist Isidro Cano caught the attention of social media after he posted photos on Facebook of a large balloon that fell from the sky onto a tree near the Mexican city of Veracruz.

People who saw the ball fall said that it made noise, but did not burn. An unusual object resembles a very hard plastic or an alloy of various metals. So far, experts do not know exactly what it is, but note that it is unlikely that this is space debris.

Kano warned everyone to stay away from the ball’s impact site, as it could be radioactive and also contain valuable information.

Later, Kano said that the find was removed from the tree and taken by a specialized team, which will study the ball in detail.
