A warning of the first degree, code yellow, has been announced in the northern regions of the country, where more significant precipitation, thunderstorms and wind gusts of up to about 80 km/h are expected.

There will be no precipitation mainly in the western and central part of the Danube plain. With the temporarily strong northwesterly wind, cooler air will move in and temperatures will drop noticeably. The maximum will be between 27° and 32°, in Sofia – around 27°.

Unlike yesterday, tomorrow the cloudiness over the Black Sea will be changeable, more significant over the northern coast, and in some places there will be rain and thunder. The wind will be oriented from the northwest and will increase to moderate.

The maximum temperatures will be around 29°-31°, the sea water temperature is 25°-26°, and the sea swell will be 2-3 points with a tendency to weaken.

And in the mountains, the cloud cover will be changeable, often significant, and in many places it will rain and thunder. A moderate, temporarily strong northwesterly wind will blow. Temperatures will drop and in the resorts they will be from 17° in Aleko to 26° in Bansko.

Rainfall, thunder and hail conditions will also be present in the Balkan Peninsula, and before noon also in the British Isles. Significant precipitation is expected in Serbia and Romania, the Baltic countries and the Scandinavian Peninsula. In Central Europe before noon there will be more sunny hours, but later in the day it will also rain in places.

In our country, the month of August will begin with lower than usual temperatures. Sunny weather will prevail, with the possibility of short-term rain in the afternoon. On Tuesday, the wind will weaken and move from the northeast, and from Thursday, temperatures will begin to rise.
