Suitable for breakfast but which can also be served at the end of a lunch or dinner. The delicate mixture made from few ingredients allows the honey cake, in fact, to be tasted even after important and rich courses. It is prepared in a few steps and you will see that in a short time your cake will materialize before your eyes. Don’t believe it? Then let’s start immediately with the recipe.
Ingredients
- 300 g di farina type 00;
- 250 g of honey;
- 150 g of butter;
- 3 eggs;
- 1 sachet of baking powder.
A soft honey cake to immediately feel pampered. Preparation
Making honey fluffy cake is really simple. First, take a saucepan and melt the honey and butter for a few minutes. Then when the two ingredients are completely liquid, turn off and let cool. Put the previously sifted flour in a bowl. Also add the yeast, always sifting it.
Take another bowl and pour the mixture of butter and honey. Next, add the three whole eggs and mix well for a few minutes. After the ingredients are well blended, add the flour slowly over and over. Meanwhile, stir continuously. When the mixture is homogeneous, take an oven mold of about 24 cm in diameter. Grease or cover the mold with a previously wet and wrung sheet of baking paper. Bake your soft honey cake for about 45 minutes at a temperature of 180 °. Finally, before serving, sprinkle with a layer of icing sugar.
