17 servicemen were hospitalized per day

The serviceman fell ill in mid-February. He was treated in a hospital, his health condition deteriorated sharply.

Over the past day, 63 new COVID cases have been recorded in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. One soldier died, informs press service of the command of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

“As of 10:00 am on March 7, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have an acute respiratory disease COVID-19, 1,269 people are sick … Unfortunately, the Ukrainian Armed Forces registered the 49th fatal case from complications caused by COVID-19,” the message says.

It is noted that the soldier was hospitalized at the Vinnytsia Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital. A positive PCR test was obtained on February 16th. Despite the ongoing therapy, the patient’s health condition worsened. The resuscitation measures carried out did not give the desired effect.

Today, 344 people are in isolation (including self-isolation). Over the past 24 hours, 17 military personnel have been hospitalized in hospitals.

In total, 16,218 people have recovered since the beginning of the pandemic.

“Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 2,376 people have received one dose of the vaccine. 488 of them are military doctors. Over the past day, 704 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19,” added the command of the Medsil of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Let us remind you that in Ukraine vaccinated more than 17 thousand people… No one has yet received two doses of the vaccine.

It was also reported that Ukraine entered in the top ten countries in the world by the increase in coronavirus together with Brazil, USA, Italy, France, India, Poland, Czech Republic, Turkey and Russia.
