These screenings – one in each of the six departments of the Center-Val de Loire region – are organized by the production company Beau comme une image in association with the Information Centers on Women’s and Family Rights (CIDFF), on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, November 25. At the Chartres cinema, a debate will then be offered with the director of the film, three psychologists and a representative of the France Victims 28 association, which welcomes women victims of violence in particular.
“The objective is to provide information on the management of post-traumatic care,” specifies Thomas Desmarchelier, journalist for the production company BCI. In schools, this is both a preventive action but also awareness-raising among young people about violence, especially against women. “
