In the German city of Zittau (Saxony), unknown people stole 60 tons of cobblestones from the road. The amount of damage is about 30 thousand euros. The police launched an investigation. This is reported Polish News.

The loss of paving stones occurred at a local freight station. After the cobblestones went missing, employees of the railway operator Deuthsche Bahn informed the police. Only sand remained on 300 square meters of pavement.

According to police, the theft took place between December 16 and 23. An excavator was used in the crime. The stolen property was hauled away in a truck.
