City councilors of “Democratic Bulgaria” in the Capital City Council sent a letter to Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova
The advisers of “Democratic Bulgaria” warn that a pro-Russian march is being prepared in the capital.
We have received disturbing information that a “demonstration in support of Russia” is planned, which will turn into a “festive civil march” with the title “We are not neutral! We are for Russia! Victory is ours!”. In the invitation to participate, published on social networks, it says: “May all those who love Bulgaria and Russia (because we are inseparable parts of a whole)…” write in a letter to the mayor of Sofia, Yordanka Fandakova.
“We invite you to make use of the powers referred to in article 12, paragraph 2, of the law on rallies, rallies and demonstrations and to impose a ban on holding both the rally and the procession. We are convinced that certain data exist, that the two events are aimed at a violent change of the constitutionally established order or against the territorial integrity of the country, which obliges you to prevent them. Proof of this is the already mentioned statement that Bulgaria and Russia are inseparable parts of one whole” – say the municipals DB advisers.
“We are convinced that terrorist calls and demonstrations should not be allowed in the center of European Sofia. Moreover, with Russia’s treacherous aggression against independent Ukraine and the slaughter of its people, at a time when women and children are forced to suffer without light and heat, is an unacceptable “festive procession” and support for the murderers” – also say the city councilors of “Democratic Bulgaria”.
