Armed assailants shot down the scientist’s car, and he died of his injuries at the hospital.

“Unfortunately, the medical team was unable to resuscitate Fahrizade, and a few minutes ago, after years of effort and struggle, this leader and scientist became a bloodthirsty witness,” the Iranian Armed Forces said in a statement.

“Another terrorist blew up the car in which Fahrizade and his bodyguards were shot,” the Tasnim news agency reported.

“Terrorists have killed a well-known Iranian scientist today,” Iranian Foreign Minister Javan Zarif said on Twitter.

“This cowardice, in which there are serious indications of Of Israel is a testament to the criminals’ desperate efforts to incite war, “said the Minister.

“Iran calls on the international community – and the European Union in particular – to end the shameful double standards and condemn this act of state terror,” Zarif called.

Fahrizade led an organization dedicated to research and innovation in the defense department.

According to the Associated Press, the Israeli authorities declined to comment on the murder of the Iranian scientist.

The Israeli newspaper Jerusalem Post has suggested that there may be a murder of Fahrizade ASV administration of President Donald Trump.

“When Trump realized that a direct attack on Iran was too dangerous, he probably decided that the assassination of Fahrizade was a more acceptable option,” the newspaper explained.

At least six nuclear scientists have previously been killed in Iran.

According to Reuters, Western, Israeli and Tehran opponents of Iranian emigrants characterize Fahrizade as the leader of a secret nuclear weapons program suspended in 2003.

Iran has long denied that it has sought to use its nuclear program to develop nuclear weapons.

As part of the 2015 global power and Iran nuclear deal, Iran pledged to limit its nuclear program and the West to lift sanctions.

In 2018, Trump left the agreement unilaterally and imposed new sanctions on Iran.

Since Joe Biden’s victory in the US presidential election, the government of Iranian President Hasan Ruhani has repeatedly signaled its readiness to cooperate with the new US administration.
