A new brutal scandal shook the parliament, the deputy shouts: Enough nonsense! BLITZ TV

Asen Vassilev answers the questions of the deputies of Friday’s parliamentary control. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance apologizes to the MPs for the scraped treasury.

Shortly before Vassilev appeared on the rostrum, the MRF read a declaration on the food crisis.

Asen Vassilev announced that about BGN 15 million had been spent in March alone to help Ukrainian refugees. For April and May the funds are BGN 56 million by decree of the Council of Ministers, but they are from the National Fund with EU money.

A total of 148m euros can be spent on European programs, Vassilev said.

Yordan Tsonev wanted to know exactly what is the methodology for allocating budget funds and placing orders under the Public Procurement Act, which would lead to intercompany indebtedness and fiscal obligations.

Vassilev explained that the budget includes 30 percent more capital, which is separate from European programs. The transport projects did not need additional security.

Then another scandal broke out in the National Assembly.

Tsoncho Ganev from Vazrazhdane asked if there was a risky incident during the planned repair of Kozloduy NPP.

According to him, a fire broke out after spilling several hundred liters of oil. It turned out that the non-fire hoses did not match, as a result of which 200 powder fire extinguishers were used to extinguish the fire.

Asen Vassilev stated that he does not know about such a situation so far and he has not received a report on the incident. The Nuclear Energy Agency has not contacted the government.

“Get your hands off Kozloduy NPP and don’t do PR with such nonsense without ever seeing a circulating pump,” shouted Victoria Vasileva of ITN.

This caused chaos in the parliament, but the Speaker of the National Assembly managed to quell it quickly.
