A never-before-seen video of the Titanic wreck has been published

“Titanic” sank on April 15, 1912, when it was on its way from Southampton, Great Britain to New York, USA. There were only 20 lifeboats on board, enough for only half of the passengers on board. More than 1,500 of the 2,224 passengers died in the crash.

The shipwreck was discovered 73 years later – in 1985. It still lies at the bottom of the ocean at a depth of almost four kilometers.

“WHO” researchers reached the shipwreck for the first time and filmed it using the device “Argo”. This is how the first photos of the wreck were taken, which are still circulating on the Internet.

VIDEO: NEVER SEEN FOOTAGE OF THE WRECK OF THE TITANIC

Researchers returned to the wreck in 1986 with new tools. The never-before-seen footage was taken right during this expedition.

The wreck of the Titanic remains a very important object of study for scientists. Since its discovery, scientists have worked hard to preserve it. Granted, this is very difficult, as the wreck is inhabited by a host of life forms that are slowly destroying the wreck.

Researchers believe that the shipwreck will be completely gone by 2030. There is very little time left for us to document the shipwreck and its ecosystem.
