A national strike disrupts train traffic on the Le Mans-Nogent-le-Rotrou-Chartres line

Due to a national interprofessional social movement, the movement of trains to and from Le Mans – in addition to trains between Châteaudun and Chartres linked to work on the line – will be disrupted from Wednesday January 26, 7 p.m. to Friday 28 January, 8 a.m.

On the Le Mans-Paris line:

Coming from Le Mans, trains from 6h01, 6h28 towards Paris-Montparnasse are deleted.

The 7:35 a.m. scheduled departure from Le Mans will depart from Chartres station at 8:52 a.m. He will arrive at Paris-Montparnasse station at 9:54 a.m.

A replacement coach will leave Le Mans at 2:47 a.m. and arrive in Nogent-le-Rotrou at 4:05 a.m.

On the Chartres – Courtalain – Droué line:

The service is normal, excluding adaptation to the work.

On the Paris – Chartres – Nogent-le-Rotrou line:

The service is normal, excluding adaptation to the work.

Works on the Tours-Vendôme-Châteaudun line

Since January 3 and until July 1, the complete regeneration of the Tours – Paris line via Vendôme and Châteaudun is entering its final phase. The major works to be carried out require the total or partial closure of the section between La Membrolle (Tours) and Châteaudun for 10 months.

Work on the SNCF Tours-Châteaudun line via Vendôme is entering its second phase

Normal rail traffic:

  • Between Châteaudun – Voves – Chartres
  • Between Châteaudun – Voves – Paris-Austerlitz

Reduced rail traffic and replacement coaches put in place:

  • Between Tours and Vendôme.

Connections provided only by replacement coaches set up:

  • Between Vendôme and Châteaudun.

From Châteaudun, the trains of 6h53 (in the direction of Chartres) and 16h58 (in the direction of Paris Austerlitz) are removed.

From Paris-Austerlitz, the train of 13h57 in the direction of Châteaudun will not circulate.

In the opposite direction, the train from Chartres at 5h42 in the direction of Châteaudun is deleted.
