READ.ID – A mother with the initials MT (30) allegedly cut or killed her three children with a machete to death.
The incident occurred in Hamlet II, Banua Sibohou Village, Namohalu Esiwa District, North Nias Regency, Nias Islands, North Sumatra.
The three boys who are still under five have the initials YL (5), SL (4), and DL (2).
Head of Public Relations for Nias Police, Aiptu Yansen Hulu, said that the incident of a mother scratching her own child took place on Wednesday (09/12/2020) at around 13.30 WIB.
The murder incident began at around 09.00 WIB when the victim’s grandparents, father and eldest brother went to the polling station (TPS) to participate in the North Nias Regent Election.
Before leaving, the four of them also had time to say goodbye to the suspected perpetrators and victims.
However, after the election, at around 13.30 WIB, the victim’s grandfather, grandmother and eldest brother who had arrived home found that the three victims had died tragically with their throats slit.
“Meanwhile, MT at that time was beside the three victims sleeping on his back and a machete beside him,” he explained.
