Almost a year has passed since Boston businessman Jonathan “Jon” Dixon put an end to his life. His wife Delilah (Stéphanie Szostak) now gives birth to their daughter Charlie, who is officially Jon’s child, but is actually the result of an affair with the music teacher Eddie. Right before the birth, Eddie clears the table and tells his wife Katherine the truth. When the circle of friends and Delilah’s older children Sophie and Danny learn about it, this causes turbulence. Above all, Sophie does not want to put up with the fact that Delilah cheated on her father. Jon’s other friends are also struggling with problems. So the couple Rome and Regina reconsider their decision not to have children and are now aiming for adoption. Maggie and Gary move in together and have to get used to the changed everyday life after they both got over their cancers. A surprise visit from Maggie’s mother, Patricia, upsets everything. Again and again, the past becomes an issue for friends and their families. The young PFY, who wants to find out the identity of his biological father, causes a stir. Is it actually the late Jon? Eddie is also looking for traces of a long-ago event: In a dream he is reminded of a mysterious accident on a lake. The star-studded drama series “A Million Little Things” penned by DJ Nash won the 2019 Television Academy Honors Award.
