A man loses his life in a serious car accident in Variņi Parish

Yesterday, on September 22, a serious car accident took place on the road section Smiltene – Gulbene at the turn to the village “Variņi”, in which one person lost his life.

“In the footsteps on the asphalt and roadside. The car came from Gulbene. Has not gathered and sloped at least 100m. As far as I could see, the driver or passenger was already under the film, ”

reports an eyewitness.

Zane Vaskāne, (VP) Senior Specialist of Vidzeme Region Board informs that on Tuesday, September 22, at 07.25 in Smiltene region, Variņi parish on the highway Smiltene – Gulbene, a man driving a Mercedes drove off the road due to unexplained reasons parts and overturned.

A man born in 1960 died as a result of a road traffic accident. Criminal proceedings are currently underway in the police for the accident.
