A Latvian citizen was seriously injured by a Latvian citizen in Sanpavla il Bahar in northern Malta on Saturday, referring to the police.
The 24-year-old Latvian was stabbed in his own apartment shortly before midnight.
Police say it happened after a dispute with a 31-year-old man from Imjar. However, a Latvian was struck by a third man, whose identity is not yet known.
A Latvian citizen was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the other two men have fled the scene.
