Gold prices jumped in the local market during Sunday’s trading, increasing the gram by about 6 pounds at once, compared to yesterday’s prices.
Club Naguib, Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a 21-gram gold price rose today to 776 pounds compared to 770 pounds yesterday.
The price of a gram of 18 carat gold was about 665 pounds, 24 carats around 887 pounds, and the gold pound was 6208 pounds.
Today is an official holiday on the world stock exchanges.
