A hundred people have been evacuated this Tuesday afternoon in the eviction of the Camino Viejo de San Vicente and houses on the right bank of the Guadiana as it passes through Badajoz after the heavy rains recorded.
During this afternoon, the Revelln de Badajoz shelter has also been set up so that evacuees can spend the night, as well as the Gvora Multipurpose Pavilion, the Badajoz City Council reported in a press release.
It should be noted that, in Badajoz, in addition to the work involved in closing parks, groves and riverbanks, numerous calls have been answered for pools of water on the road, falling cornices and flooding of premises, garages and homes.
