Nursing staff at Dr Jeetoo Hospital made a gruesome discovery in the men’s toilet in ward L-2 on Saturday April 10. A patient killed himself by hanging. Around his neck he had a fabric belt hanging from the bars of a transom. The drama happened around 3 p.m.
The victim, according to our information, suffered from psychiatric disorders. The police station of the hospital center was alerted. Officers from the Scene of Crime Office (SOCO) also attended. The body was taken to the morgue.
