A six-year-old girl nearly choked on a piece of mask that was inside her chicken nuggets, bought from a McDonald’s in East Aldershot, UK.
Laura Arber noticed that her daughter, Maddie, was having difficulty swallowing food and was beginning to choke, so she put her fingers down the girl’s throat to try to remove whatever was blocking her breathing.
Surprisingly, he discovered that in the chicken mixture there was a blue piece that he immediately qualified as a surgical mask.
“I didn’t even think it could come from a chicken nugget, but I looked inside the box and all I could see was that blue thing coming out of another nugget. It was a box of 20 ”, explained the mother.
After the incident, Arber returned to the McDonald’s where he had purchased the food, but they were not responsible for what they had sold, excusing themselves that they are not responsible for preparing the nuggets.
The most outrageous thing for Maddie’s mother, who nearly drowned, is that she received no apology for what happened and, even worse, that they continued to sell the same food without concern.
“They kept serving them, and that was the most shocking thing for me. I just couldn’t believe the way the management handled it. What if I had left the room and my daughter had choked? She may have died. In a fraction of a second, ”she claimed.
