The carnival was to take place tomorrow / Sunday in the center of the town but the windy weather led the organizers of the event to cancel it in order to preserve everyone’s safety. A substitution program will however take place at the De Heuvelhal sports center.
Several carnivals have also been canceled in the Netherlands, notably in Weert, Kwadendamme, Lewedorp and Eindhoven.
