The health funds reported that a noticeable rise has occurred since yesterday morning, on the number of people who have been vaccinated against the flu, pointing out that the virus this year is “aggressive and fierce” advising the Israelis to receive vaccinations, especially the groups with high risk factors, which are adults over the age of 65 years. Children aged one and a half years and above, with chronic diseases and pregnant women.
According to the Israeli authority, officials at the Ministry of Health expressed concern about the low rate of vaccination against influenza and the high number of patients who were seriously injured due to complications from this disease.
