8 p.m. – Into the open at the Grand Sud in Lille

Voetvolk is THE explosive Flemish duo that fuses dance and music, made up of choreographer and dancer Lisbeth Gruwez and musician, composer and DJ Maarten Van Cauwenberghe. For Into The Open, three musicians and four dancers take to the stage to embody the groove and share the energy of rock. The performance begins like a concert, then, very quickly, imposes its rhythm, its madness and its imagination, with its sophisticated scenography and its light effects. It sounds like the promise of a crazy, fiery, unbridled, percussive, powerful dance concert, where everyone galvanizes each other: musicians, dancers and spectators. We bet you’ll be in a trance? 8/16/21€. In the Great South in Lille.

7:30 p.m. – Musicvideoart screening at the Pamais des Beaux-Arts in Lille

It was his passion for electronic music that prompted Mark Reeder, a British musician, label builder and military fetishist from Manchester, to come to Berlin in the late seventies, where it seems that all he saw and lived there was filmed. A chance ! Mark Reeder is both guest and guide on this journey through time to the wreckage of West Berlin in the final years of the Cold War. The B-Movie: Lust & Sound in West Berlin is less of a documentary and more of a narrative presented as an elaborate compilation of material brought together and brilliantly assembled into one impressive film. It takes place at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Lille at 7:30 p.m. Entrance freeby reservation.

Under the pseudonym of Dj Wonderbraz, Yuna Le Braz has been masterfully mixing, for 20 years, world music that we don’t often have the opportunity to listen to. Music that is both popular, traditional, old and current, that she has brought back from her travels or that friends from other countries have entrusted to her. Treasures, collectors. Electro-exotic pieces, exotic hip hop melodies, hybrid bombs, with a guaranteed effect on the dancefloor. Guided by her pure instinct, associated with her knowledge of the musical planet, Wonderbraz balances, with naturalness, sounds of the world. Meeting at the Maison Folie Wazemmes. Free.
