The youtuber Mennenth got hold of the DualSense and decided to conduct a test on the haptic feedback of the controller. PlayStation 5: The content creator used the vibration of the pad to play the audio tracks of the 2016 DOOM reboot.
To succeed, Mennenth connected the PlayStation 5 controller to a computer and used a special program to remodel the operating parameters of the feedback aptico tuning them dynamically to the notes and tone of a audio signal like that, in fact, of the soundtrack of the reboot of DOOM signed ID Software.
In order to convert the vibration in noise perceptible to the human ear, the youtuber had to do is place the DualSense on a cardboard box completely empty and open on one side: in this way, the box has amplified the vibration del controller nextgen e generated sound that you can hear in the video at the opening of the news.
To carry out this curious experiment, Mennenth followed the steps illustrated by a user of the Reddit forum with a tutorial (you can find it in the link at the bottom of the news) that explains which software to use for transform into sounds and noises with PS5’s DualSense haptic feedback.
