A driver offers in exchange, on OLX, a BMW 5 Series on a Dacia Spring

Dacia Spring has become a real phenomenon in Romania. It is so beloved that some people are willing to exchange a BMW 5 Series (older, to be honest) to take possession of the first Dacia to charge at the outlet.

Pe OLX I found such an ad: BMW 520 in exchange for a hybrid or electric car, including Dacia Spring. It is a BMW produced in 2011 that reached a mileage of 240,000 km. The owner mentions that the distribution of the car was changed to 217,000 km. Under the hood is a 2.0-liter diesel engine that produces 184 hp and a manual gearbox.

Used BMW 5 Series, in exchange for a Dacia Spring

This car can be bought for 9,990 euros. It seems that the owner of this BMW is ready to give up the comfort of a German limousine in favor of another, greener car. “I also accept some exchanges with a hybrid or electric plug-in car. Opel Ampera, Chevrolet Volt, Volvo V60 hybrid, Outlander PHEV, Dacia Spring ”, writes in the online ad. The owner of the car says that it was very well maintained, and the revisions were made at intervals of maximum 15,000 km.

The Romanians enthusiastically received the first electric Dacia

In mid-April, a customer from Bucharest became the owner of the 5,000th Dacia Spring vehicle sold on the Romanian market.

Since its commercial launch, Dacia Spring has established itself as a detached leader of the electric vehicle market in Romania, reaching almost a quarter of the sales of this segment.

85% of customers MODEL they ordered both power systems available as an option. These are the 10A cable and the DC charging system.

At European level, at the end of March 2022, almost 40,000 Dacia Spring vehicles were already in circulation. Most of them had been registered in France (over 18,000 units). Then follow Italy (6,700 units) and Germany (5,100 units).
