A double bang in Hard – Vorarlberger Nachrichten

Amann becomes vice mayor with 16:15 votes in front of Eva Hammerer, the boss of the Harder List is withdrawing.

HARD The constituent meeting of the Hard municipal council came up with two big surprises. With a slim majority of one vote, the entrepreneur became Nadine Amann (party-free on the ÖVP list) elected Vice Mayor. At the end of the session, RA finally declared Anton Weber, Harder list, his retreat into replacement.

Willingness to cooperate

The meeting in the tenter was initiated by Hard Matthias Österle from the registration office Hard in his capacity as deputy election officer, interim mayor Evi Mair, ÖVP. The hall was well occupied by substitutes, guests of honor and other listeners, taking into account the distance rules. After the inauguration of the new mandataries and substitutes took over Martin Staudinger (41) to chair as the new mayor. He routinely led through the agenda, and representatives from all parliamentary groups repeatedly emphasized the will to work together. The mandataries unanimously set the number of board members at eight. In the end, a clear majority was elected Andreas Droop, Nadine Amann and René Bickel for the ÖVP as the strongest parliamentary group (eleven seats), Oliver Kitzke, Elfriede Bastiani and Dr. Martin Staudinger for the SPÖ (Mitanand for Hard, ten mandates) and Eva Hammerer (44) and Sanel Dedic (Green Hard, eight seats). FPÖ and Harder Liste, each with two mandates, are no longer represented on the board. The Greens had nominated Eva Hammerer for the election as Vice Mayor, while ÖVP parliamentary group chairman René Bickel presented Nadine Amann (38) as a candidate for his parliamentary group.

Vice from the ÖVP list

Hammerer briefly presented her enthusiasm for Hard including childhood memories, Nadine Amann expressed her will to stand up for her home community. The election result was extremely tight: of the 33 votes cast, to the surprise of most of those present, 16 went to Nadine Amann, 15 to Eva Hammerer, and two were invalid. The new Vice Mayor was also surprised. The self-employed entrepreneur is currently intensively involved in greening projects and is also networked nationally. Finally, attorney Anton Weber (60), as chairman of the Harder List, recalled the impressive number of initiatives his group has taken since it was founded 30 years ago.

Farewell speech by Anton Weber

What sounded like a farewell speech was evidently one: He didn’t want to be left as a political dinosaur and was withdrawing to the substitute. Despite the losses for his list, he is happy about the new composition of the municipal council with three similarly sized parliamentary groups. “Good work for a community is by no means only possible with a strong majority.”

“Wo gommr no ane?”

After this speech, which was surprising for everyone, the mandataries all rose to applause the long-term council. He had previously regretted that the question: “Wo gommr no ane?” As an invitation to a “follow-up meeting” in an inn cannot currently be asked. But some did not want to miss a quick after-work beer in the nearby “sauna” until curfew, because the session ended shortly after 9 p.m. Committee members
