In the United States, an unscrupulous person abandoned his dog and her litter of puppies in the parking lot of a Texan church.

Last July, a boxer bitch and her nine puppies were cruelly abandoned in the parking lot of a Baptist church in Abilene, Texas.

The little two-week-old furballs were placed in an ordinary plastic box. Faced with this situation, some passers-by photographed the canines and posted the photos on social networks.

The bitch was in bad shape

The photos caught the attention of two volunteers from the Paw Angel Animal Rescue association located in the same town:

“I saw the photo and it broke my heart. I called Angel and we went to save them ”, said Mistie Boeger, one of the rescuers.

Indeed, the Texans rushed towards the parking lot to retrieve the poor animals. On the spot, they discovered that the dog was in distress and in bad shape.

A puppy has died

Quickly, the canine family was able to be taken care of by the shelter veterinarian. The mother had wounds on some parts of her body. Unfortunately, one of the puppies had to be euthanized because he had a tumor.

Due to lack of funds, the refuge appealed for donations to finance medical expenses and the cost of food.
