Deputy Julio Sahad (Together for Change), who was present on the premises in the session he held last Thursday, reported on Monday that he tested positive for coronavirus, making him the third legislator to suffer from the disease.
“I want to tell you that a few hours ago I was confirmed with a positive covid-19 diagnosis. I always took the necessary precautions to go and return and every time I entered my province I made myself available to the corresponding authorities, following protocol,” Sahad wrote. (PRO-La Rioja) on his Twitter account.
Unlike the other two legislators who tested positive (Walter Correa and Federico Fragoli), Sahad was present on the premises at the session that the Chamber of Deputies held last Thursday to debate the project on plasma donation for recovered coronavirus, the knowledge economy law and regulation of telework.
