a coalition to promote hydrogen buses

The Hydrogen Fuel Cell Bus Council will work to educate policy makers, regulators and transport stakeholders on the benefits of hydrogen fuel cell electric buses.

The Hydrogen Fuel Cell Bus Council (HFC Bus Council) is an unprecedented national coalition of transit agencies, manufacturers and suppliers working together to advance the economics of hydrogen fuel cell electric buses and their applications in the public transport sector.

The formation of the HFC Bus Council comes at a time when investment in public transport is reaching historic levels, alongside national commitments to transition vehicle fleets to emission-free propulsion.

Educate decision makers and create market opportunities

The mission of the HFC Bus Council is to educate policy makers, regulators and transportation stakeholders on the benefits of fuel cell electric buses. It will work towards the development, deployment and use of safe, clean and efficient hydrogen buses, and create additional market opportunities to advance hydrogen fuel cell technology in public transport services.
