A dog of the Security and Rescue Service (SYR) of the Civil Guard of Asturias, named ‘Blue’, located early this Tuesday in relative good health a 78-year-old woman who had been missing since Sunday of her address in Carral (A Coruña).
As reported by the Civil Guard, the woman was located at around 8.40 am this Tuesday inside a shed of an uninhabited house in the place of Quembre. The clue was given by the emergency dog that participated in the operation.
The 78-year-old woman had been absent from her home since Sunday night and her relatives had filed a complaint with the Civil Guard, which began the searches on Monday.
Patrols from the Civil Guard of Carral and Culleredo, Civil Protection of Carral and numerous volunteers participated in the different mechanisms.
In a first check, 061 staff determined that the woman’s state of health was relatively good, although she was transferred to the A Coruña Hospital for a more exhaustive examination.
