Al-Marsad Newspaper: Citizen Muhammad Al-Subaie recounted the details of his pancreas removal without his knowledge at a hospital in Arar.

He said during an interview with the channel “Gulf Rotana”: “My story dates back to 2016. I have diabetes and the consequences of the disease led to my kidney failure. I traveled to one of the countries and underwent kidney surgery and pancreas transplant and the operation was successful. For 4 years my health was good”.

He continued: I visited one of the northern cities of the Kingdom, and felt sudden pain, and went to a government hospital, and had an appendectomy, and was surprised by the doctor who told me it was the removal of the transplant pancreas.

He indicated that he obtained a report from the hospital, including that the appendix was removed without reference to the removal of the pancreas, adding that he went to Dammam and went to King Fahd Specialist Hospital, and after the examination it was found that he had He suffered from intestinal bleeding, which caused antibodies that fought against the transplanted kidney and were removed, he had to go back on dialysis, his health deteriorated and the blood did not reach his limbs due to diabetes.

He explained that removing the pancreas and causing an intestinal wound is what led to the deterioration of his health. Which prompted him to file a lawsuit against the Ministry of Health against the hospital where the pancreas was removed, and he was referred to the judicial authority, which obtained the opinion of the hospital, which said that there was no it was no medical error.

He concluded: I went to the Board of Grievances, and they said it’s not our specialty, I don’t know, how right I am, and my health is not good, and no one has proved me right or wrong.
