A children’s camp was evacuated in the Vysočina region

Due to storms with wind and torrential rains, firefighters in the Vysočina region have been intervening in forty places since Friday afternoon, and no one was injured in these events.

Due to the rising level of the Bystřice river, firefighters contacted the leaders of all summer camps near the river. They decided to evacuate the camp near the ruins of Aueršperk Castle after 21:00, said Musilová.

Firefighters had to evacuate the camp on Friday afternoon in the Trutnov region as well. There, too, they were heated by a strong burst of clouds.

Thunderstorms should also be in the Czech Republic on Saturday, the warning is issued for almost the entire territory of the Czech Republic and with the exception of the Moravian-Silesian and parts of the Olomouc region from 12:00 to 20:00. But they should not be as strong as on Friday.
