On the 18th (local time), according to NBC news in the United States, on the 15th, Gabriel Alexis Henderson was found dead in a family home in North Carolina.
Henderson is the mother of five children. At the time, Henderson’s youngest child was also shot and taken to the hospital, and it was found that life was not affected.
Local police confirmed that at the time of the accident, Henderson’s house had only him and five children. Henderson was with four children, and the eldest was in the living room.
Police found a small semi-automatic pistol in Henderson’s handbag, which one of the children believes triggered by mistake. A police official explained, “Henderson was shot without knowing it, and so was the youngest child.”
Henderson’s children are said to be living with other families. Funds are being raised through a funding site for Henderson’s funeral expenses and financial assistance for children.
