Mario Götze has sparked interest from Serie A. A top club wants to sign the 2014 world champion.
According to “Gazzetta dello Sport”, the interested party is Lazio. The Romans once had very positive experiences with another striker – Miroslav Klose. Starting next season, Mario Götze is supposed to follow in his footsteps.
A transfer is possible. The contract of the 27-year-old attacker at Borussia Dortmund expires at the end of June. So he can switch free of charge. The question will be whether Lazio can make an offer financially enough for Götze. In addition, it has to be shown whether the sporting perspective appeals to him. Apparently, he can very well imagine moving to Italy.
