An hour ago, a new rush with illegal migrants took place on the road between Chirpan and Stara Zagora.
A bus with 24 migrants crashed by itself while being chased by police cars.
The bus was intercepted near Chirpan, as the driver failed to stop at an elevated stop sign. A chase ensued, during which the bus driver lost control of the vehicle, spun and stopped, BNT reported.
The trafficker, a man of Ukrainian origin, was slightly injured. No policemen were injured in the chase.
It was established that there were 24 illegal migrants in the bus.
An inspection has already begun on the spot in the presence of a prosecutor from the Stara Zagora district prosecutor’s office.
