Leonardo Jardim could become today the first Portuguese coach to win the main club competition in Asia, if he leads his Al-Hilal (Saudi Arabia) to victory in the Asian ‘Champions’, in the final against South Koreans Pohang Steelers , in Riyadh.
Portuguese coaches have already been champions of the most important continental competitions in Africa, Europe and South America, but never in Asia. There are six technicians who have achieved this feat:
