Roma sports director Tiago Pinto defended José Mourinho after yesterday’s defeat, Saturday, against Inter (0-3). Despite admitting that seven defeats is a high number, the Portuguese leader says he is confident.
«Mourinho brought a lot to the players. I’m not looking for excuses, but we had a lot of difficulties with the absence of six or seven key players. I’m sure Mourinho will continue to bring out the best in our players. Seven defeats is too much, but I want to repeat that in these moments we need to be strong. I am 100% confident in Mourinho’s work and by the end of the season we will have our goals achieved», said Tiago Pinto, speaking to DAZN.
