FC Porto debuted to win in the edition of the European Basketball Cup this season, beating Romanian CSM Oradea, by 75-63, in a match of the 2nd round of Group H, held this Wednesday night , at Dragão Arena, in Porto.
After being defeated (64-81) in Hungary by Szolnok in the first round, the dragons reacted in the best way and added their first victory in the competition.
Moncho López’s men were even behind at half-time (33-38), but a second-half of great level – especially the third period (22-6) – meant that the victory remained in Invicta.
In the 3rd round of this European competition, scheduled for next Wednesday (18:00), FC Porto will travel to Poland, to face Légia Warsaw, current leader of the group, with four points, the result of two victories in others so many games. The blues and whites follow close behind, with three points won (one victory and one defeat).
