Currently at Panathinaikos, Laszlo Boloni is chosen to succeed Mirel Radoi as Romania’s next coach. Confirmation was given by Razvan Burleanu, president of the Romanian federation, to the AS.ro.
“Boloni assured me that he will arrive in Bucharest soon so that we can start negotiating,” explained the Romanian leader to that country’s portal.
Confirming this will be the return of Boloni to the Romania team that he coached between 2000 and 2001. Then followed his spell at Sporting, having led the lions to the national title in 2002. Throughout his career, he still has adventures with Nancy, Rennes, Monaco, Al Jazeera, Standard Liege, Al Wahda, Lens, PAOK, Al-Khor, Antwerp, Gent and Panathinaikos.
