A 3-year-old boy died in a serious accident near Vratsa. The accident occurred on the Vratsa-Krivodol road shortly after 19:00. It was raining heavily, the car overturned in a ravine.
According to a doctor who was in one of the ambulances, the child died instantly. The mother and another passenger in the car were injured. The driver did not use alcohol or drugs.
Soon after, tensions escalated in front of the Vratsa Emergency Center as relatives were unsure if the child had died. They broke the glass in the emergency center. There are many policemen on site.
Relatives say the ambulance was delayed. An investigation has been launched.
“We had to take the child out. There was no one to take him out. The doctor is on the sidelines drunk,” said the deceased child’s grandmother, Kapka.
“When I arrived they told me there had been an accident, my colleague also arrived two minutes before me and went to have an accident. There is no delay, the child was brought by my colleague” , said Dr Teodora Genova of CSMP-Vratsa.
