Poppy Playtime chapter 5 Teaser Reveals New Character, Hints at Prototype’s Return
Mob Entertainment has released a new cinematic trailer offering a glimpse into Poppy Playtime Chapter 5. The brief, under-one-minute trailer showcases the continuing horror series and provides a shadowy look at the mysterious Prototype, alongside the first reveal of a new character currently speculated by fans to be a potential villain named Lilly Lovebraids.
The teaser currently lacks a firm release date, but is available to wishlist on both Steam and Epic Games Store.
The previous installment, Poppy Playtime Chapter 4, launched on PC in January 2024 and on consoles later that summer.This timeline suggests a potential release for Chapter 5 around January 2026.
Beyond the game series, Mob Entertainment is expanding the Poppy Playtime universe. In May 2023, the studio announced a film adaptation in growth with Legendary Entertainment and Angry Films.
