An 81-year-old man died after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident in Fazakerley, Liverpool, on December 5, turning a quiet community into a scene of “chaos,” according to local residents. Police were called to the scene on Longmoor Lane at approximately 6:20 PM following reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a car.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Merseyside police have launched an investigation into the incident and are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
