ITV’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me out Of Here! sparked outrage among viewers on Friday, December 8, following the simultaneous elimination of Nigel Farage adn Josie Gibson. Many took too social media claiming the results were “a fix,” expressing their disappointment and vowing to stop watching.
The double departure left remaining contestants Tom southey and Aitch vying for the title of King or Queen of the Jungle in Sunday’s finale. One viewer posted on X (formerly Twitter), “I want Tom to win (loved him for years) and Hubby wants Aitch to win, but we both want the other to come second. Aitch has it in the bag though after his sister’s visit, so sweet. Tom is still my number one though! #ImACeleb #imacelebrity.”
Despite his elimination,Nigel Farage reflected positively on his experiance,telling Ant and Dec he “enjoyed connecting with people” and appreciated making “11 new friends,” noting he “doesn’t have a lot of people in England.” Similarly, Rachel Riley described her time in the jungle as a “basket of bliss, every single second of it,” and expressed fulfillment in a maternal role within the camp, stating, “I’m not been lucky to be a mother in real life, so if I was considered the jungle mum, I feel like I’ve won already.”
The series finale is scheduled to air on Sunday evening, December 10, where either Tom Southey or Aitch will be crowned this year’s winner.
